The Bluestone Workforce Training Facility will be the first large footprint building designed for business and technology use in the new Bluestone Technology Center. The building is sited on a parcel of land near the core area of the park, and is intended to set the design standard for other buildings to follow in the park. The design of the building is consistent with the type of buildings that will be constructed in the park. Inspiration for the massing and detail has come from indigenous prototypes in the region, while simultaneously projecting a contemporary, clean aesthetic appropriate for high tech industry. It is envisioned that the building will house four separate offeringes from four separate instructional institutions, and common areas shared by all. Common areas include a large break room with vending and small catering kitchen adjacent, central LAN and IT rooms, and an administrative suite.
